What are interchangeable syringes?
Popper's Micro-Mate Interchangeable syringes are designed to fit any Micro-Mate interchangeable barrel of the same size. This featuer allows for worry-free cleaning as there is no need to fit barrels with individual plungers.

What are HOSPI-PAK syringes?
HOSPI-PAK syringes are interchangeable syringes packed in our hospi-pak tray packaging.

What are matched-numbered syringes?
Matched-numbered syringes feature frosted individually lapped barrels and plungers which can withstand higher temperatures. These syringes are individually boxed and have matching serial numbers on mating barrels and plungers.

Do you sell replacement chrome-plated ring sets for contol syringes?
Yes. Replacement rings sets are available for our 1ml/2ml, 3cc, 5cc, 10cc and 20cc syringes.

What material is the bulb on a plungerless (Asepto Type) syringe made from?
The bulb is made from age-resistant rubber which can withstand repeated sterilization.

Can the pipetting assembly be sterilized?
Yes. Pippeting assemblies are autoclavable. As with all of our specialty/resuable products, proper cleaning is required to ensure repeated sterilzation and reliability.

Do you offer replacement parts for pipetting assemblies?
Yes. Replacement syringe, metal holder,plunger spring, washer, valve kit, sinker, valve component set and valve only are available for sale.

Is the pipetting assembly compatible with BD Cornwall?
Yes they are fully compatible with BD's Cornwall and are offered at a substanially lower cost (typical saving is over 50%!) BD and Cornwall are trademarks of the Becton Dickinson Company.

Do you offer any products for ELISA, HLA, Tissue Typing or Cell Feeding Innoculation?
Our 4 and 8 port Micromatic Manifolds (center and side feed) can be used with all of the above procedures. Our manifolds feature all-stainless steel construction and are ideal for use with 24 and 96 micro assay plates. End screw caps can be easily removed for cleaning. All parts are autoclavable.

Do matched-numbered syringes conform to gastight specifications?
No. Popper syringes are not suited for chromatography applications.

What are the pressure limits for your glass syringes?
The following pressure limits conform to ISO 591-2:1987 (Para 6.4): For syringes 1ml to 10ml-43.5 PSI (300 kilopascals)/For syriges between 10ml and 30ml - 29 PSI (200 kilopascals)/For syringes over 30ml-21.8 PSI (150 kilopascals).

What are the temperature limits for your glass syringes?
All luer lock and metal tip interchangeable syringes can withstand a maximum sterilization temperatuer of 200 degrees Centergrade (392 degrees Faranheit).

Do you offer Amber glass syringes ?
Yes. Amber glass syringes (for light sensitive applications) are offered on a custom-basis. Minimum order is 500 syringes per size. Amber syringes can be manufactured in 3cc, 5ml-50ml sizes.

Do you offer any glass syringe with a metal plunger?
Yes. Our Perfektum 1ml Tuberculin syringe (catalog 5212) features a metal plunger. The plunger is made from stainless steel.

Do you offer syringes for Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA)?
Yes. We offer stocked 50cc DGA syringes. 30cc syringes are non-stock and are typically available within 4-6 weeks. Please note that Popper does not offer the hose kit that is typically included in dissolved gas analysis. Popper's standard stopcocks can be incorporated into any DGA syringe.
